Our coffee is kindly supplied to us by Coffee West, based in Buckfastleigh.
We try to source as locally as we can but of course not much coffee gets grown even here in Devon! So, the next best thing is a local supplier. Happily for us, and our customers, Coffee West provide a product that is of the very highest standard. You can believe that we researched long and hard to find the best coffee available…..and
our mate Dean came up with the goods!

We
currently stock Rocca coffee, a top quality blend that works at all times of day, being neither too harsh nor too mellow. It sits well as an espresso and readily converts into delicious, decadent cappuccino,
or on a cold winter afternoon, a long warming latte. For those of you who don't
need their coffee "fancy", it makes a mean Americano as well.
As part of our ethos here at The Big Red Sofa we try to support Fair Trading whenever possible. With that in mind we also stock Fat Roc coffee which is a fair trade equivalent of our Rocca blend. We don't charge a premium for our fair trade products and we firmly believe that Fat
Roc is a top quality coffee. Flavour is not compromised at The Big Red Sofa and
of course, for you coffee connoisseurs we have genuine authentic biscotti, all the way from Italy!
By the way, Fatroc has recently been awarded "organic" status, so it just keeps getting better!

We know that not everyone
finds coffee as refreshing and delicious as we do. We have stocks of fair trade
tea, 'normal' and Earl Grey, green tea and a whole range of organic herbal teas, kindly supplied by "tea's me", another local
company, run by Helen Lynch. Helen provides us with a range of herbal infusions
designed to complement any mood you happen to be in. They are very tasty, refreshing
and look gorgeous too when served in our elegant glass pots.

If a hot drink is not tickling your taste buds we have a range of organic, locally produced soft drinks, supplied
by Heron Valley, another local supplier. They come in a variety of flavours such
as apple, ginger and orange, all organic and all produced less than thirty miles away.
