We are basically a bookshop with a refreshing difference.  We offer our visitors the opportunity to come in, sit down and relax on our Big Red Sofas.  Once there you can enjoy a top quality coffee, or tea if you prefer.  If you like you can sample one of our delicious organic cakes and browse a book or two or even take in some outstanding local art. We stock a broad range of titles on our shelves. However, we operate a fast efficient ordering service for anything you can't find immediately.  There is no pressure sale here.  We are not on the High Street of a major town or city.  We don't try to compete with the national chains.  What we do is offer you a wonderful experience in a relaxed friendly atmosphere. And if you really like us you can take a Big Red Sofa tee shirt home as a lasting memory of your visit!
